Five stages of repair
At a JM Accident Repair Centre, we understand the distress and frustration caused by having a motoring accident. Our aim is to restore your vehicle to its pre-accident condition and return it to you as quickly as possible. This process usually follows five distinct stages:
- Vehicle collection and drop-off. Our representative will discuss the repair requirements and produce paperwork. We recommend that the customer removes any personal property from the damaged vehicle. If a courtesy car has been arranged, we will go through the paperwork and look over the courtesy car with the customer.
- Contact from the JM Accident Repair Centre. Depending on the level of damage and parts availability, we aim to get back to you within 72 hours, to confirm the vehicle repair plan and to give you an expected completion date.
- Work commences. Parts are ordered and delivered to us, and repair work begins. An average repair takes five to six working days, depending on parts availability.
- Completion of repairs. Our customer service team will contact you to discuss delivery and payment. Meanwhile, your car will be washed, vacuumed and given a quality control check to ensure the repair meets our high standards.
- Vehicle delivery/hand-over. Our representative will look over the repair with you, complete the paperwork and (if applicable) will inspect and take away the courtesy car.
